Meet Samara
• Samara is a vintage Moroccan Boujaad rug originating from the Atlas Mountains.
• Samara is over 50 years old and measures 360 x 167 cms. She is a faded taupe colour with pink, purple and grey Berber motifs and symbols.
• Given her age, Samara does show signs of wear and has a low pile. However these details add to her charm and beauty and help tell the story of the rug.
• Samara is made from wool and organic vegetable dye and took Berber women circa 6 months to hand weave.
